Vintage Antique Eyeglasses with Case approx. 1920's30's
Antique eyeglasses. Very delicate looking - Glasses lenses with very thin wire frames. Hard case for glasses with a faux snakeskin finish. Lined in hunter green velvet.
Label on the top of the case says, "Michaels Opticians"
There is a stamp on the inside of the bridge of the nose: STOCO1/10-12K
Case measures 2.5 by 5.25 inches.
Glasses measure 4.75 inches across. Each arm is also 4.75 inches long.
Great condition. Minor tarnish and spots on the metal parts of the frames. One of the lenses has a small worn spot on the bottom edge, under the bridge of the nose. The case has two large spots and a piece of a sticker on the bottom. The top has some small nicks in the snakeskin finish. The top of the lining has some very, very minor fraying, and the bottom has some marks from hte glasses sitting against it.
